Hello - I purchased the movie The Messengers and wanted to make an extra backup copy for me. I had no problems making a backup but when I played it on my tv (and tried all four of them) there were all these little squares on the movie. Anybody have that problem?

More than likely poor quality media. Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

Been using the same blanks for years. But this one is a new batch. I did another movie before and after trying this one and no problems.
I did do the whole movie. I will try tonight when I get home just doing movie only and see what happens.
I havent been on this site for awhile, which means a good thing cause I've had no problems, but I thought maybe something new that Sony is putting in their movies caused this.

Good morning! Just popping in before I head off to work that I finally made my backup copy. Yeah!!!
I did go thru about 4 bad disc in my batch but finally found one that worked. Also, I did the Movie only and that seemed to do the trick.
