Help!!

K, I d/l spider man from Kazaa, it is said as a avi file but it only opens in the divx player. Than i try to put it on nero so I can burn it to vcd, it is said to be corrupted, now when I get a program to convert it, it tells me that the file is an audio file.
What the hell is going on?

load the file into virtualdub and click file>file properties and post all info you see if you want someone to help

I did it but...

I did it but it still doesn't work, it won't even let me open the file! It said I needed a VFW codec, video for windows. The file works when I play it in divx player!
