Abstract Video Loop

I need to create some abstract video loops to use as backgrounds during presentations. How do I do that?

yes something like that. Hopefully slightly higher quality but same concept.

Those I've sucessfully recorded by sending the video out of my laptop to the video in on my capture card. They capture fine and look pretty good on a TV (720 x 480). If you have video out you could probably plug it into a DVD recorder and get the same results.
