display srt in Media player classic

Hi

I wish to read subtitle together with avi for my shows. But always showed me error massage " to re open the file after u click VRM7 renderless etc.. which I have already did.

I have media player classic , haali media splitter , Divx and Xvid programs install. But I am unable to load the subtitle . Wat did I do wrong ?

Pls guide me . Thanks !

I think if you download and install Directvobsub and place the subtitles in the same folder as the .avi (with the same name), they should display.
