Anyone know a program that can convert swf to avi? I tried SUPER but it can't read the file.

SUPER(and other encoders) can encode SWF files if it can identify the codec used for encoding the swf file.In your file the video is embedded in the swf. You will have to extract the video from swf(as flv ,probably) to encode it to avi. There is another rather strenuous way.Play the swf file in Media Player Classic.Capture and save each frame as image file. Then use Virtualdub to encode the image frames to avi. However you will not get the audio in this way.
The easiest way will be to use something like this.Last edited by paglamon; 12 Aug 2007, 01:05 AM.sigpic

The SWF file in question does not contain video, but flash animations/vector graphics, you're best off using something like Camstudio to capture your screen while playing it, then re-encode/crop/resize with something like Avidemux or Virtualdub.Comment

Yes. I was just going to post about this option. Some screen capture softwares can even do real time compression(with XviD ,for example).
The file in question does not have video in it indeed. But,he can still use a decompiler to extract the objects/frames/images/sound and encode.sigpic
