RMVB to AVI/WMV converter...HELP!!!

Hi alll, I have some problems that I would like to solve with your help, so here it goes

1. I need a FREEWARE RMBV to AVI or WMV converter

2. If that's not possible, then a FREEWARE Video editor like Movie Maker that can use other formats
