saving streaming video

Hello!

Sometimes I watch streaming video on web-TV. Is it possible to record the stream on my harddisk?
When I use mediaplayer I have an option to save to playlist, but it is only the URL that is been saved - not the content of the stream.

You can do this through "screen capturing", use a screen capture tool such as Camtasia or Snag-it.

Alternatively, ASFRECORDER enables you to save asf streams.

It can capture streaming Windows Media formats to HDD.
And it's freeware.
