    Benq i655 Firmware

I recently purchased a used Benq 1655, when I installed it found out it was repackaged, the firmware is differnt fom the original Benq, I can't find the firmware for my 1655, Nero reads it as Atapi Dtd Lq 16x/8x/18x/14x the firmware is Gaa@. Any ideas?

try to download the last 2 and save before they disappear from benq's pages

your numbers are all wrong in your post, let's try to be accurate

you will need to crossflash from oem firmware(g) to the B with a special flasher

I need a copy and paste of the drive and it's firmware to verify what you are saying

see a nero log or use the nero infotool

Just creat a folder on your desktop, call it flash and put them there

I used the nero winaspi if I can remember right, it's been over 2 years since I crossflashed my benq 1620, my benq 1650 came with B firmware

and now you have one of the best all round burners ever made, it will do quality scanning

for a noob, no offense, you have mastered a lot in a short time, I sweated blood and lost a lot of hair doing that crossflash 2 years ago, of course I was too embarrassed to ask for help

                old f@rt that I am

                way to go!
