Firmware update problem

I just went to see if my firmware is up to date with Dvd Decrypter, it read my firmware but when it tried to log on to the firmware page I got the message "Internet explorer cannot display this page", tried Imageburn and Blutarchs Firmware display, same on all. My computer is not having a connection problem all other programs work I have Comcast and am always on-line. I found out my burners, (Plextor 760A and Benq 1655 are up to date , just for future reference why the other programs did not work. Any one else have this problem?
