    dvd camera with country code?

    hallo forum members,

    i have a question:

i'm atm on a trip in the us and found some nice dvd cameras for a unbeatable price. my only concern atm is if the camera bought in the us implements some kind of a country code in the recording as this problem pops up when using dvd movies from other countries.

*edit: and what aout the pal/ntsc problem. does a camera purchased in the us automativly use the ntsc standard?

    thanks for your help

Howdy. Yes pretty much all cameras sold in the US are set for NTSC. That does not mean however that you cannot find one that supports both NTSC and PAL. It is just a matter of finding a dealer that has one in stock or can get it for you in a reasonable time frame given you are on a trip atm.

    Here..I will fix it!
