      Hi.

My thread has expired on the board -- you suggested I use a different vob2audio tool as I was having problems getting it to work after ripping the dvd to hard disk. Can you resend the name of the dvd2audio softeare -- also you website address.

      Thanks

      John Keast

Ok. Guys -0- your thoughts on this.

              Looking at this link

it also says In Vob2Audio we'll have to do this:
Load the same LIST file which Smartripper has created while ripping the data in 'Voblist'.
Tsunami's tool 'Streams' will be started and its DOS-Box can be closed as soon as it says FINISHED.
Now choose the desired language under 'Audiostream'

Dod I need to get Tsunami's Streams installed? Where do I get this?

                NO you dont!

tsunamis STREAMS.EXE is part of the vob2audio pack.

vob2audio does NOT like directory names with blanks in it!
this could be one possible problem!

otherwise you should be using a different routine to extract audio from your vobs.

                  Graphedit Question

                  UncasMS

I am making good progress with this now. But, I do have one question.

I am using GraphEdit on my laptop. It all works fine -- geting wav files out of the vob's. However, when I try to do the same in my wifes identical laptop (except she has a lot more HD) some of the filkters I need are missing after I install GraphEdit -- the
MPEG 2 SPlitter. The dll is there in the SYSTEM 32 folder but does not show up in the list of available filters -- and itr is one I need.

Any thoughts. I hjave resintalled, reregistered it several time. It must be linked to something already installed on that laptop. Is there another filter I can use to take the output from the I-Media Multiple MPEG2 SOurce filter and put it thru the MPEG2 Slitter so that ACS3 outcome is avilable?

                  Thanks

well, since you said you already installed and REGISTERED the filters again and again, i have no idea.

have you tried ANY filterpack or used a different one?
that's what i'd go for next!
