Canon noob needs repair
advice reqested re: repair
I have dunked my cam in a pond - long story - unremovable lens is full of internal water marks and goodness knows what else
should I go with Canon's (UK) repair service or are there other alternatives which the wise would prefer ? My Warranty wont cover it in any case... since Canon parts cost twice as much as 3rd party I guess the same applies to repairs - Q is it worth it ?
