Final Cut Pro 3 and Flash Files

I have been trying to import flash 5.0 files into FCP3 all day without sucess... I have tried several things, exporting the film as a quicktime.mov, the problem there is that it doesn't seem to capturing the alpha transistions in the flash movie or playing it, it just shows what is happening in the main scenes and doesnt include the transitions. Or more sucessfully importing the actuall swf into the FCP3 file, however it shows up as being almost no durration, but through scrubbing you can actually see the flash movie playing, as long as I keep scrubbing back and forth. Can anybody give me some suggestions.

I am not trying to include any of the interactivity of my flash movie, I just want to take advantage to the flash movies I have already created.

If anyone has any experience with it out there plz respond.
