MP3 text edit ?

I guess this is in the wrong place, i didnt know where else to put it.

I would like to ask, if there is a piece of free software available with which i can edit the text that scrolls across my MP3 player screen when a track is playing, this text often appears to be in the wrong language, i often wonder if this is a fault of my MP3 player, so to simply look at the text would be enough, but to edit as well would be even better.
