I don't think you can add an anti virus to the PS3.If you want to use it like a PC then I recommend installing Linux to it. Click here -

I was told elsewhere later after my question that the PS3 can't catch viruses from people though chatting because the PS3 hard drive is run different to a PC where the PS3 users can't catch a virus even though I already knew the hard drive is run different. We can still stummle on a virus-infected web site that can screw-up the PS3.
