Add PCM stream to MPEG2 video?

    Hi,

Does anyone know how I could add an uncompressed PCM stream to an MPEG2 video file?

why do you want to use uncompressed audio, which should be extremely big?

      Purely to annoy you

Apart from that, I want to use it so that the home videos that I have made match the audio quality of the other DVDs that I have, which all use PCM or Digital 5.1 (It must be good if they use it, those sorts of authoring teams need not waste their time). Naturally I don't have 6 input streams, so I'm opting for the former.

you said MPEG2 in your initial posting!

how do you manage to add 5.1 to an svcd stream?

Are you saying DVDs aren't MPEG2?

Note how I didn't say SVCD, I'm talking about an MPEG2 program stream (that which is used on DVDs).

Anyway, enough arguments, does anyone know how?

well since you didnt provide sufficient information to fully understand what you wanted to do and how, i asked some questions since i'm not a mind-reader.

            but i agree: enoughs enough
