Ugh, 3.0 was bad enough. I'm sticking with 2.0.

Bummer. Opening hangs. Went back to 3.011.

Funny the 3.5 final and RC3 have the same product and file version.

      Thanks for the heads up.

Release Candidate! microsoft used to do same, they just started different and now change a num or two for final build. too much confusion when more n more ppl started using RC's and leaks.

vista sp1 was the best one they didnt even change the digital signatures and the release candidate and final product was just same.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

No problems here so far, so I'm sticking with 3.5.

So far so good here too, a few add-ons don't work anymore but no biggy. Loads super fast now too.

Give Minefield a try with Mr Tech Toolkit. The trick is if you update Minefield frequently, as each nightly build seems "good" download the installer(just google Minefield Nightly Build for the download links) and keep it in your download folder. If you get an update that hoses stuff, back off to a previous one with the installer.

All the stuff I used with 2 is either working or I'm using other addons that do the same. Mr Tech Toolkit gets around most that don't like seeing 3.6pre as version.

I think I had one or 2 updates in a period of months really act weird and I fixed that by backing off to a previous nightly build. I use it as my default browser. For some reason it seems to behave better than the 3.5 betas when I was trying those, and even a lot of the 3.0 and 3.10 versions of the "stable" FF.

Have they compared to Minefield? afaik Minefield is supposed to have JIT enabled for content and 3.5 not(I don't have 3.5 on my system to look.) Just by feel, 3.6pre seems pretty snappy.
