Hi All, I'm getting into a video capturing project on a Pioneer DVL-909 Laserdisc Player. I'm capturing from the S-Video out. My questions are these.
1. What are the best codecs for highest quality video capturing on a mid level machine (p3 800).
2. How to capture Surround from a LD/DVD Player? (it has a number of outputs including Digital Out (coax AND optical) as well as the normal composit (which i assume is stereo)).
3. Any information on the Laserdisc format and capturing it optimally. Resolutions to use, etc ... I've scavenged and havent found much for LD specs.
