Having issues playing 720p .mkv file in MPC HC with K-lite codec pack full

My system:
2.5 dual-core Centrino
4gb RAM
Nvidia 8600 GS (updated driver)
Windows 7 64-bit

When playing .mkv's the video is there but it plays at like 3x speed and the audio
is either not there or is only loud clicks.
I tried messing with my output options but nothing changed. I'm using the Haali
media splitter as well.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

good for u but for future reference, pls download and install shark007 codec both 32 and 64bit after uninstalling any other codecs.
