As you didn't tell us how it happened or which Dvd playing program, I am going to go with no.

As you can tell, I'm a novice. It is Windows XP 2000. The program is Power DVD. Somehow, I deleted some element of it. I am just wondering if I can just download that program from somewhere. Or, is there another program I can download for free that will play a DVD?

        VLC Media Player or GOM.

This was brought about by MilesAhead's thread. If we can't find one, make one. We all in our travels come across free stuff, so let's pass it on here. All I ask is that we stick to the rules of the Forum & keep the giveawayoftheday stuff to it's own thread. I am going to start it off with a media player that I was linked to

DVD is mpeg. What do you wish to accomplish specifically?
