I need help please!!!!

Hi, I have copied a DVD to my computer. The movie is standard - 90min but takes up nearly 4GB! I downloaded DVD shrink but I'm not sure how to use or if I can even use it for this purpose. I'm not burning to disc, just keeping on my hard drive. Most movies I see on the internet are around 700MB. Should I delete the file and start again with a different program - I can't remember the name of the first program i used. Can someone help me please?

In order to reduce 4.x GB to ~700MB you should convert to AVI/MKV

There will be numerous tools; search for Super or MediaCoder
