    realplayer blocks camtasia?

when i use camtasia to convert a realplayer film in to avi, the output is all black and the sound is gone.

is realplayer "protected" against programs like camtasia?
or am i doing somethinh wrong?

Don't know about camtasia. To my knowledge there is no method to convert rm to avi succesfully, because rm is closed and protected.

      RM to Avi

There is a program that'll do this - it's a FREE program called TINRA.

Use Google and find a site that carries it - I don't!

You'll need to have Real Player on your system before trying this software out. Be warned, the image quality will be dreadful and I certainly wouldn't use it.

I always wonder who would want to convert Real Movies to avi? What source the rm files were coming from and the point of carrying out such a task!?
