mpg to avi problem

hi,
i recently encoded spiderman vcd to mpg using vcdgear(fix eroors option was on).now when i try to convert spidey2.mpg to avi using flaskmpeg,mpeg2avi or blaze media pro , iget an error saying file is errorneous!!but it plays correctly!!virtual dub gives mpegpack initilization error!!pls help me out!!

The file is an MPEG-2 file. Use a frameserver method or Flask to convert it to AVI file. It is possible that the process of VCD -> MPG was not smooth and the resulting file was reported as erronous.

By the way, why are you trying to do VCD -> MPG -> AVI? You could do it straight as VCD -> AVI using Virtualdub.
