got some .avis without sound

I hope you can help me.

I have downloaded some TV Show Episodes (friends, simpsons etc.), and some of them seem to have no sound track...
when i open them in Media Player, it says something like
"Looking for codec server...", and then it`s playing without sound.
which codec is missing? i got the latest Divx Codec.

Possible sound format in the AVI file:
1. MP3
2. WMA (Download codec direct from M$ or install DivX 3.11a)
3. OGG (Need to install the Ogg Vorbis Direct Show filter implementation)
4. AC3 (Install the filter from any codec pack, or install a software DVD player)

To check what the sound format is, open the video file in Virtualdub and check the File Information.
