    Error Downloading Codec

    Whenever I download a Divx DVD rip via Kazaa or another p2p program, and attempt to view the movie through Windows Media Player, I get the message "Error Downloading Codec." Then, rather than seeing a movie play on my screen, I only see ambience. I can hear the audio perfectly, but I get no visual image. How do I ammend this problem?

      M$ will not supply you with the DivX codec, so you have to manually install the DivX codec into your system. Get DivX 5 from www.divx.com. For DivX 3.11a, get it from here.
