Sound prob drives me crazy!

i have downloaded some divx with an ac3 sound codec. most of em work fine, but in some all the voices are much too deep, as if the sound would be much too slow (but it is syncron with the characters!).

Virtual Dub

Virtual Dub say the following, when i want to run the movie with it: "The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format[...]"

install an ac3 codec or any software dvd player like powerdvd

i have an ac3 codec installed and some ac3 codec movies work - that's what confuses me.
maybe i try that dvdplayer tip, thanx.

I have the same problem, but i can play the movie using the "old" mediaplayer.
the "old" mediaplayer should be on your hd
\programs files\windows media player\mplayer2.exe
if you can't find it there, then search for the file "mplayer2.exe"
with that player i can play divx with AC3 without any probs
