Back again. Not much luck with my first post asking for system recommendations, so I thought I would limit the question to video capture cards and editing software. I know very little about dv editing and this site has been very helpful. At least I know enough now to start asking some more pointed questions. Which brings me to the question: does anyone use pinnacle sytems studio dv version 7? I have a ton of home super 8 video that I want to edit on put on either svcd or dvd. Should the card be pci or usb, or does it matter? Would studio deluxe version 8 be a better choice? Thanks to anyone who can take the time to respond.
