DivX to MPEG4 conversion?
How do I convert from AVI/DivX to MPEG4? Flask is not helping me. ALso How do I convert DivX or mpg1/2/4 to vob?

mpeg2 is vob...sorta. Mpeg2 is the video type that DVD's use, Vob is just a file that holds the Mpeg2 video, audio, subs, and what not.
Tmpge is the perfect program for making Mpeg2....as for making it into a vob that takes a DVD authoring program I believe....
Converting Divx to Mpeg4.....why....the quality wouldn't get any better, that is if your converting it with Mpeg4 Video Codec Compresser v1/v2/v3, or to Divx 3,4,5. Converting Divx to anything else but Mpeg2 or some Lossless codec (Huffyuv), will just result in quality loss, though may not be as noticable if using higher bitrates. But if you need to know, just used VirtualDub.
