    Windows XP compatible?

Hello. I was wondering, is the DivX 3.11 alphac codec compatible with Windows XP? If not, is there a compatible equivalent?

Anything you can tell me would be great.

    Thank you for your help.

When I've started to install it, I get a warning saying "Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the current operation of your system..." I'm not sure whether I should ignore the warning or not.

i got the same message and just ignored it and installed it. Absolutely nothing happened, so just go ahead. I feel it's just one of those things to protect microsoft. If you computer starts working improperly and u call microsoft, they'll ask u if you install something the gave the message and then they'll be like sorry cant help you its your fault kinda thing. I figure its kinda like the swim at your our risk warnings, just protects the company.
