Divx Viewing Problem

Hi,

I'm having a problem viewing an avi (part 1) file that says it uses the divx codec. I thought I've installed everything needed yet I'm getting an error message saying "no combination of filters could be found to render the stream" on my windows media player. Can someone please help?

there's a tool called gspot, which will tell you what codecs the movie uses and what codecs are installed on your system so far.
