DIVX AVI Problems Please Help!!!

Someone please help me!! I have downloaded several Divx AVI movies and I get the same problem. The video is fine, no problems, but there is no sound! I've tried everything I can think of. When windows media player loads up it tries to download a codec (unsuccessfully). I've tried installing several codecs as well as media players but I still get the same result. Please someone help me!!. Thanks in advance,

Right-click on the file. Click on "Properties". Click on the "Advanced" tab. You'll see descriptive information about both the video and audio codecs used.

Uninstall ALL of your codecs, then re-install just DivX 3.
