Load the file into Virtualdub and post the "file properties"

i attempted to load the avi file using virtualdub, however when i tried to it gave me an error saying:

Couldnt Locate Decompressor for file format "DX50" (unknown)

i would appreciate if you could instruct me as to what this means, as you can prolly tell im not very familiar with issues such as this

      thanks again

          Quick Question...

I recently dwnldd a huge divx.avi and it wouldn't play in my real|one player. I deleted the "divx" portion of the file name and it now plays in the real player. One problem, the audio is not in sinc with the video. Anythign i can do?

Side ques: I downloaded the DivX 5 bundle from DivX.com and the peice of garbage always says "Failed to open file..." no matter what I choose. What did I do wrong?
