missing audio codec 0161

Hi,

I'm working with a couple of .avi files, and the video is perfect on them, but i can't seem to get sound. I've downloaded div fix and virtual dub, and i've learned that there is audio information present in the file, and i believe the codec # is 0161. My problem is i can't seem to download any program that recognizes this audio type. I try to convert with div fix, and it tells me it can't begin due to an unknown codec. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. I'm running Windows M.E., with windows media player. (i think version 8) I've also downloaded Divx 5.0.2.
