    Problems with TMPGenc

    Hi,

I have used this utility in the past to squeeze the most file onto my dvd+r's, but suddenly, all my mp2's and mpg's get the following error when I try to set them as the video file:

[Filename] can not open, or unsupported.

These files work fine in my DVD workshop software, but suddenly not in TMPGenc. Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this?

    Thanks

Are you using one of the free versions of TMPGEnc - that has a 30 day timel limit regarding MPEG2-related files?

Do you have the REQUIRED companion VFAPI plugin installed? If not, go to:

Sure do....plus, I re-downloaded tmpgenc again. It was working fine for the first 7 days, but since then nothing. I don't think I've uninstalled anything critical, and like I said, I can still view these files.

I'm using an ATI 9500 to capture and output, and Ulead DVD workshop to edit....

Under the "Options" dropdown menu, click on "Environmental setting" tab. Make sure that the MPEG2 Video PlugIn has a priority setting of -0-...
