    vhs capture

    hello
i am a newbie to video capture and read some of your guides but could'nt find the answer to my question

    here it is
i got this olds vhs movie that i would like to put in
avi (any codecs) but when i try to capture it the view is alright when i record it .Alas when i try to play it back i get a white
line on the center of the screen (almost the size that a letterbox screen dvd would cover ) i suppose that it is due to crapy quality of the video so my question is anyone could tell me how to remove it
since it play on the recording i am guessing that it is not my
    video card .
i am using leadtek a250 le td
with (adobe premiere, video wave ,or my vivo ) and they all give me same result .
thanks for your help in advance

is it only ONE single line or are we talking about horizontal lines, which would a result of interlacing!?

What you're seeing is one type of macrovision copy protection at its "finest"...
