Subtitles don't seem to show in Windows Media Player?!

I tried playing Panic Room but the subtitles(in .sub format) don't show in Windows Media Player! Then, I tried BSPlayer but the timing seems screwed and adjusting the timing of the subs don't seem to work.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Oh and Radlight Player doesn't seem to work.

    Thanks a lot!

Use DirectVobSub included in the VobSub package

From one of the Windows Media Player's dropdown menus, did you select "Show captions"?

ERrrrrrrrrrr... how do I get Direct VobSub to run with Windows Media? I started up Windows Media Player, played the movie but it's not working. X___X

And Yes, I've already selected show captions but that's not working!

Make sure that the sub and moviefile has the same name, and that they are in the same directory.
