burning an mpeg 1 vcd with nero file size 1.5 gig?

hi i am trying to make a vcd of blow a dvd rip i have converted the file with tpmg, and when i load the file in nero to burn, it makes the file 1.5 gigs and there is no way i can burn that on a cd is there something i am doing wrong when converting the avi file or is there a way to make it a smaller file so i can burn it onto a cd/r ??? really messed up over this one do i really need to burn 5 or 6 cd's to get a vcd , and if so is that even possible i am getting an error when trying to burn, Nero wants a bigger medium or disc that will fit the file.

Hi Slicksta, you are going to have to cut the file in half to fit onto 2 discs. I would recomend you use TMPGEnc as its a free ware program, you have it already, and it produces 100% compliant MPEG files, unlike a few other Cutting programs.
