XviD HELP PLEASE

I have film and i have installed XviD so the movie can play...but sometimes the movie freezes or locks-up..but i still get audio playing.....and the picture is stuck.......is it XviD thats causing the problem......thanks

If you happen to be using Nic's build (which will more than likely come bundled with his buggy Directshow decoder), switch to Koepi's plain vanilla decoder or FFDShow.

Try running the XviD-compressed AVI file through DivFix.

I Have tried that also ...and virtuDub ...i treid to remove any bad frames....but still the picture gets stuck.......I also treid avidefreeze....thats no good too.
