Hi there,
I'm quite new to this digital video thing but I'm learning quickly thanks to this great forum and the people using it.
I have a Compaq Evo N800v, 1,9ghz, 512mb ram running XP Professional with an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 card using the latest ATI Enhanced driver.
I connect my computer with the TV using svhs and 3,5mm stereo to a scart adapter since my old TV doesn't have svhs.
These are the instructions i got from ATI.
Attach a TV or VCR to one of the TV OUT connectors (composite or s-video out) on the ATI card.
Open Display Properties (from Control Panel)
Select the Settings tab
Click the Advanced button
Select the Displays tab
Click the green button beside the "TV" label
Click the Apply button
The problem is that the green button is greyed out. I have tryed havning the TV switched on/off, rebooting with TV switched on/off, changing resolutions and upgrading drivers. I don't know what else to try.
Some help would be really nice since I'm getting quite frustrated over here. Thanks again for a great forum.
