How do i compress DivX

Hi,

I need to know how to compress a 750mb divx file so i can fit it on to a 700mb disk without overburning or ripping it. Also what do i need to do this and where do i download it?

I also need to know how to compress awi files.

If possible, try removing the end credits instead:
1. Open file in Virtual/nandub
2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
3. Use the Mark In/Out buttons to specify the start and end of the new file respectively. The end will be the scene just before the end credits appear
4. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file

Otherwise/in addition, you may want to try recompressing the audio at a lower bitrate as well, since the process will be much faster.
