DVD drive will not read dvds - oh yeah im a lamo 2
Sorry folks for this lame question but im stumped and I NEED HELP . I have a samsung dvd-rom sd-608 drive , I have windvd 3.0 and micro dvd player and neither program will play a dvd for squat . I suspect that the dvd drive is not reading the disk . It will play music cds and video games and any software apps but it does not play dvds for love or money .
I have an 800 meg athlon , with 256 megs of ram , and I am running windows 98 2nd .
I have tried reinstalling the drive , reinstalling the eide bus drivers , reinstalling the dvd players , disableing udf in drive propertys . and I searched for drivers at samsung but there tech support is bad . couldnt find any drivers .
when you right click on the drive in my computers with a dvd installed it says the drive is not assecible . The device is not ready .
