    play the file in the Windows Media player 6.4
    start-->run--> mplayer2.exe
    FFDShow filters
    Guliverkli's Media Player Classic

        I never had any problems in winamp; it should still play upright =/

        Have you by any chance download the infamousNimo Pack ?

        LOL, you're not gonna turn your monitor upside down eh? When we were at CPL my neighbor couldn't figure out why his video was upside down, and determined to watch LoTR, he flipped that mofo on over; I was thoroughly amused.

          Thanks in solving my 'mystery'

          Hi everyone

          I just wanted to say thank you to all who offered me their helpful suggestions in solving my prob with my .avi file playing upside down in winamp.

          As someone suggested, play it in anything OTHER than winamp....the file plays perfect in windows media player. Always a simple solution, the one you never think of!!

          Thanks again everyone for your kind help!!

          PS) Now I am bugged as to WHY it plays upside down in winamp...must be some wierd winamp phenomenon..lol.

              Yeah, I'd stay away form winamp3 - it's slow and the attempt at playing video files is poor.

              2.81 was the last 2.x version to be released - u can get that from the normal website.
              If at first you don't succeed, give up.
