Newbie!
Well, this forum looks fairly busy-ish, so I think I'll honour it with a few posts. 
I've just managed to rip my first clip from a DVD and convert it to .mpg successfully! So am planning to rent all the DVD's with music vids and other bits that I liked again in the near future, and build up a little collection.
Having a bit of difficulty getting my cd burner to work at the moment, though. So I reckon I'm likely to want to post in more detail about this in the near future, plus also ripping, conversion, file sharing, PC / DVD hardware and software, and maybe shops with sales and rental libraries. Is this forum intended to cover all of this kind of stuff, or only some of it? Thanks.
