re-installing ac3 codec

sweet advice on this forum about using gspot to determine what codecs you need. anyways, it tells me my ac3 is not installed correctly, check my image for the details.

so how do i go about reinstalling it? i don't see any ac3 codecs to download on dixv-digest... any help?
