    Playback problems

I am having some trouble playing a video through Windows Media Player. I have downloaded Tsunami, but it doesn't seem to know what to do with this file. Gspot says that the filetype is "ASF" and is unsupported. When I play it the "Reclock" in the bottom corner goes red and "no rate adaptation can be made for this media to match your hardware. Is there a way of converting this file to another type or anything ???
I am very new to all of this so please be as clear as possible.
    Thanks to all!!

Try using ASF Tools to determine and (hopefully) rectifiy the problem...
