help this noob please

Hi everyone!

I have downloaded some movies which are in an avi/mpeg format and I want to burn them to play on my DVD player! Can someone help me do this?

I would greatly appreciate any help that you wizards can offer!

dvd2svcd will let you convert avi to vcd or svcd, which can be played on most dvd players

One of the best avi to VideoCD format converters is AVI2VCD and you will find it at:

John has a few other excellent encoders on his site which you will find very useful.
