Is there any way to get around the 30 day trial use of the mpeg 2 converter.

Sure - Purchase the program (It's worth it)...

Is there any other free software to convert to svcd and is the quality much better in dvd?

I am still no the 30 day trial as well but plan on purchasing it is the only program i have found that will encoded a video with an audio track, where they had to be seperated to cnovert the ac3 audio to mp2. I deffintly think it is worth the money
