TV Out problem ONLY! with DivX coded AVIs

Dear All,

greetings to eveybody. I would appreciate if you would help with the following issue:

I use virtualdub to convert old VHS tapes to AVI's using the divx pro 5.0.3 codec. Everything shows fine on my monitor, but when I connect the composite video output from my GEforce 4 VGA to my TV, I'm able to see everything that the monitor shows, except from the video window that shows ok at the monitor and pitch black on the tv screen!!!!! I have tried the following players with the same results:
WMP 7.1
DiVX player
PowerDVD 4.0

Now if I encode the file to an .mpg using tmpeng it shows ok on both screens...

Don't have that control in properties. TV is handled through what nvidia call nview. I'm using the latest detonator from their site.
