    capture avi ?

    Hi to everone, boy am i a newbe have just bought a dvd writer and have a capture card for my tv chat shows,have captured a program in "avi" format how do i get this to dvd disc any help please.

    #2
    1) First, use TMPGEnc (select the "DVD wizard") to convert the files to DVD-compliant MPEG2 files.

    2) Then use TMPGEnc DVD Author (an entirely different program than TMPGEnc) to create your DVD structure and additional files.

    3) Then use NERO to burn your DVD (use the "DVD-Video" option and drag all of your files into the red "VIDEO_TS" folder.

      You encode the avi file to a dvd complain mpeg-2 stream, and then burn using dvd burning software.




      These guides should help you with avi to dvd conversions. Read the guides there, and search the forums.
