playing vcd's on ps2

my ps2 will not recognize the vcd's i try to play. is there a way to be able to play them??

If you're referring to burned VCDs, if at all possible, I'm sure it requires the installation of a "mod chip"...

sorry but your ps 2 will only play pal or nstc it will not play svcd or vcd . makes no diff even if u chip it. it will take dvdr if burned right
